Schedule an event

Open Calendar and click New event, give it a name, date and time, add attendees, a reminder or a repeat, and click Create. Tasks with a due date can show on the same calendar.

Updated

Create an event

  1. 1Click Calendar in the sidebar, then New event. (On the calendar page, pressing N does the same.)
  2. 2Type the Event name and, if you like, Add description....
  3. 3Set the Date and the start and end Time.
  4. 4Optionally pick a Reminder (from 1 min before to 1 hour before), a Color, a Location or a meeting link (Add meeting link).
  5. 5Under Attendees, search for the people to invite.
  6. 6Click Create.
  • Every role can add events. Members can edit and delete only their own.

Make it repeat

In the event, switch Repeat from Once to Repeat and set Every to a number of Days, Weeks, Months or Years. When you edit or delete a repeating event, choose This occurrence only or All occurrences.

Change the view

  • The view menu switches between Month, Week, Day and Agenda (keys M, W, D and A). Today jumps back to now, and the arrows move a period.
  • All projects filters the calendar to one project.
  • Right-click an event to Duplicate it, Join meeting, Copy meeting link, change its colour or delete it.

See tasks with a due date

Tasks with a due date appear on the calendar while Show tasks is on in Calendar settings (the ⋯ menu). Drag a task to another day to move its due date.

Each project also has a Calendar view of its own tasks: open the project's ToDo tab and pick Calendar in the view menu.

Connect Google Calendar

In Calendar settings, under Connections, click Connect next to Google Calendar and sign in to Google. Your Google events then show in Workel. The other services in that list are marked Soon.
