Templates For school
Group project template.
Most group projects get split up in a group chat, and a week later nobody can find who said they'd do what. This board gives every part an owner and a date, counting down to a hand-in about three and a half weeks away, so move the dates to match yours. Who does what is one table the whole group can see, Sources collects links as you find them, and the project chat is just for the project. Add your group to the workspace so everyone can pick up their part.
Free on Workel's free plan. For groups of three to five students sharing a report or presentation over a few weeks.
The board. 4 columns, 17 tasks to start with.
Due dates count from the day you add the template, so the first week's work is already on your calendar.

Who does what
One row per part. Put a name in every owner slot, agree the dates together, and change the status as you go. If your part is running late, say so in the chat early, not the night before.

How we work
- Keep the chat about the project, and check it once a day
- Share your draft by its date, even if it isn't perfect yet
- Two people read every part before it goes in
- Stuck? Say so early, and someone will help
Before you hand it in
- Everyone's name is on the cover page
- The word count or time limit is checked
- Every source in the text is in Sources
- One person hands it in and tells the group

Sources
Add every source the day you use it, with the part it's for. It's much easier than hunting for links the night before the hand-in.
How to cite
- Use the style your teacher asked for (APA, MLA, Harvard or another), and one style for the whole project
- Websites: author or organization, year, title, link, and the date you looked at it
- Books: author, year, title and publisher
- Copy words exactly only inside quotation marks, and cite them right there
- Put ideas in your own words when you can, and still cite where they came from
