How we count. What each number includes.

We'd rather show real numbers than make vague claims about how many teams use Workel. Here's exactly what each one counts.

Teams: Every workspace on Workel, whether a whole team works in it or one person working solo. Deleted workspaces aren't counted.
Projects: Every project teams have created, archived ones included. Deleted projects aren't counted, and neither is each person's private inbox.
Messages sent: Every chat message in Workel, in team chats and direct messages, including answers the assistant posts in a chat. Files sent together count as one message per file. Deleted messages aren't counted.
Where they come from: Our production database. We count the rows there and show the exact result, never rounded or adjusted.
How fresh: We recount every hour. Pages are cached too, so a number can be a few hours behind the real figure.

These numbers come from counting rows in our database. Producing them never opens a message, a file, a doc or a task.

Nothing on this page identifies a team or a person, or shows anything anyone wrote.

Your workspace is encrypted on our servers, and every connection to Workel is encrypted too.
